Policies

Our annual registration fee is $35 due upon registration for the school year, and is valid for that school year regardless of when registration occurs. This fee is non-refundable. Tuition is due and payable one week in advance of the 12-week installment period. A $10 late fee will be assessed after the due date. The single class rate will not be accepted for children's classes. We do not have free trial classes or drop-in classes. Any single class taken by a student requires a reservation and a $15 payment. Make-up classes must be taken during the season in which they are missed. There is no prorating for missed classes. There are no refunds. Refunds will not be made for involvement with sports teams, school plays, personal vacations, family visits, expected childhood illnesses, or loss of interest. There is a fee of $20 for any checks returned or resubmitted for insufficient funds. Observation Day is the first day of each trimester. Children must be picked up promptly at the end of each class. Registration may be discontinued for students with behavioral problems. Dress Code for Children and Teens The dress code applies to all students enrolled in Pre-ballet, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, or Creative Dance. Girls: Any style black leotard, pink tights, pink leather ballet shoes for Ballet,tap shoes for Tap,and jazz shoes and black jazz pants for Jazz. Hair up in bun. Boys: Black tights,leggings, or bicycle shorts,black leather ballet shoes for Ballet, tap shoes for Tap and jazz shoes and black jazz pants for Jazz. No jewelry of any kind is to be worn in class. Holidays No classes will be held during the following weeks. However,there may be some rehearsals depending on class level: Monday, Nov. 12 - Veteran's Day Monday, Jan. 21 - Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Friday, Feb. 15 - Presidents' Day Holiday Monday, May 26 - Memorial Day Friday, July 4 - Independence Day Please make up any missed classes due to holidays during the session in which they are missed. School Performances There will be four school performances: Nutcracker at the Lobero Theatre, Saturday, December 1 at 7 PM and Sunday, December 2 at 1 PM Holiday Show at the Lobero Theatre, Saturday, December 1 at 2 PM State Street Ballet Young Dancers Concert at The Marjorie Luke, Saturday, April 26 at 7 PM Spring Performance at the Lobero Theatre, Saturday, June 7 ( 2 and 7 PM) and 8 (2 PM) Download Center Class Schedule | Registration Form | Calendar
