Gustafson Dance

Gustafson's Summer Dance Camp program takes a unique approach to the performing arts workshop. While emphasizing dance, our camps integrate other aspects of the performing arts into the learning experience, thereby increasing diversity and enjoyment. The Dance Camp offers a stimulating and fun way to spend the summer. Our integrative curriculum reflects our commitment to your child. All Summer Dance Camps and Workshops require a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold a student's spot,with all balances due by June 1, 2008.

Dance Camp 2008

Ages 6 - 12

Session 1: June 23 - July 3

Session 2: July 7 - July 18

9 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday

The day will consist of a morning ballet class,where special attention is paid to the correct technique of each student, followed by art class.The afternoon will be filled with jazz class, tap class, drama, and rehearsal for the end of the session performance.

Students will become the artistic directors, choreographers, costume and set designers, script-writers, singers, and dancers. They will have the opportunity to engage in the full theatre experience,which family and friends will be able to enjoy at the end of session performance.

Cost: $475; $450 before April 1

Junior Intensive

Ages 9 - 14

One Session: July 21 Ð August 1

The Junior Intensive is designed for the more serious ballet student who is already at an intermediate level. The focus will be on Ballet and Pointe technique for the older student,while the younger student will work on strengthening for Pointe work and Ballet technique. There will be a jazz class daily, character classes, variations classes, and rehearsals for the end-of-session performance. This is an intensive program for the serious student to focus on developing as a dancer.

Cost: $425; $400 before April 1
